Splendide side by side vented. Had vented Splendide combo in last Montana. We would not be full time without a washer and dryer, just like we would not live in a stick built without one.

Splendide stacking units. Love them! Will not do without them again. They wash as well as my front loader He washer and dryer at home. And we are only now and then vacationers (not full timers, not long timers)

A lot of people love them, but I won't give up my storage for w/d or dishwasher. Just my preference, but I wouldn't give up my fireplace, large frig or Direct Tv.

Vented Splendide combo, but next rig will have stacked or side by side, depending on floor plan.

I was just curious, even though I know this poll was not scientific. On the new models (several of them including the 3611 we just ordered) they've put hookups for the washer on the right and the dryer (if you have both) on the left in the closet. We have the vented combo. In order to operate the washer you have to move the clothes that are hanging, crawl up in the closet or lean waaay in. Then you have humidity in the closet with your clothes. The reason, according to Keystone, is that only 5% of owners have washers/dryers. I don't know if that's true or not, but I do know that's going to be one of the first mods on our unit. Unfortunately the door in front of the washer/dryer does not slide, and there's a bench in front of it. I would sacrifice the bench to be able to have the front of the washer/dryer facing into the bedroom and a wall between the closet and washer/dryer. I have a feeling this new 'feature' in their floor plan won't last two years.

Ours is in the kitchen, in what could be a big pantry, stacked one above the other. I've looked at those floorplans with the washer on one side of the closet and the dryer clear across on the other. Since I use my machines almost every time we go out, and usually every other day, I've questioned the practicality of the master clothes closet set up.

We had the Splendide Combo in our 06 but the wife didn't like how long it took to do clothes and the fact it wouldn't do a large load,so she ended up going to a laundry mat. So the 13 doesn't have one.

The reason we have a Montana is because of the stackable W/D prep. My wife put her foot down and said that any 5W we bought would have a separate Washer and Dryer. She didn't want to spend her days in the laundromat while others were having fun. So we picked the 3402RL which has a closet with W/D prep and it's tall enough to contain a Whirlpool stackable W/D. The dealer installed it and recommended the Whirlpool because of the service network everywhere instead of just CW service for the Spendide W/D.
Turns out the biggest problem with service is being at one place long enough to complete the service process. Whirlpool sent out a service person, but ordering the part and returning proved to be an issue. Now we wait for the next long term camping. Luckily the problem we have is one we can work around, but want fixed while it's covered under warranty.

We have never needed a washer and dryer even though I spend 7 or so months in it. 2 hours or less in a laundromat once a week works just fine for us.
Also DW likes all the extra storage.

Whirlpool stackable, 220 dryer. Sue Loves it and would not be without it. Big loads and fast drying. I remember early on in our adventures on the road going to a laundrymat, (or down south wash-a-teria) uncomfortable chairs, creepy neighborhood, dirty machines. Made my mind up then to get our own.
