I sold this guy my Montanta for $50000 cash. He is sending me a personal check for $60000. I just have to cash it and mail him the difference. What a deal for me.
Sorry, just kidding. I just wish there was some way to catch these crooks and send them on a permanent "vacation". Please keep us informed.

Yep, I just got mine. I sent a PM to Lady RV about it before I saw this post. I guess he thinks if he gets one person to respond that he has done well.

Even up here in Canada, got it also.
Thank goodness for my MacBook, it won't allow any viruses in.
Like others, I wonder what model of a Monty he (or she) has!!!!
In just 10 days we head south for warmer climes, look out Yuma here we come.

I also thought you had to respond or open an attachment to get a virus.

We received the email too. Checked the forum and learned that a virus may have been attached to it. Thanks MOC folks for the heads up!!!
Scanned the computer with several applications and all of them report it's clean!

I DID NOT get it, don't want it or don't need it. I'm sure there are several others here that are in my same boat (I hope). I sure would like to know where and what prevented me from getting this so I could pass on what was used for others to consider.
Just a side note for someone's prior reply, a virus, worm or other destructo-program does NOT always have to be opened BY YOU for it to be executed. Email is one of the easiest ways to get executed because they often "start" up other programs in order to preview, analyze and prepare an email for use by you. Some virus programs wait for your computer to interrogate it and that's how it gets "opened".
I use Yahoo for my mail service and have been almost since they started. Most major email providers will preview an email and catch it before you even see it (like Yahoo). Then I have email and internet security programs that will also do the same thing as my local computer retrieves the email for me to read on my local computer. Then I use Windows Mail (and there are better ones out there) that has additional checking, all this before I, myself can even open it to read it. While I haven't had any problems and I haven't been exposed to email viruses, worms or the like it doesn't mean I won't ever be. I have been fortunate but I know plenty who have not been so fortunate.
What a complete waste of funds to spend for things that should not be present - but for every great thing in life there's always some deviant that will try to create havoc. Virus writers take great pride that they can write code that does these things. Oftentimes it's a joke gone bad or distributed unexpectedly by folks. Then there's hose that pay to become developers of deep level programs. are or become disgruntled and just want to make themselves feel better at the cost of unsuspecting faceless victims.
I doubt this member from the Ivory Coast has a Monty RV (I think they call them "Caravans" over there), much less the truck (I think they call them "Lorries") to tow it. The closest thing to this name is that Safari motor homes provided an Ivory Coast model of Class A, but that's about as close to a Montana as you'll get.
Be safeguarded everyone!
