Just so I'm clear on this. The Winwgard 360 antenna connects to the winegard wifi router allowing for better reception of subscribed RV park wifi signals. As opposed to just connecting your TV to your phone hotspot? Does the router accept a sim card and it's own ATT or Verizon data plan? So we have 80GB of shared hotspot data. The advantage would be I wouldn't have to reconnect my TV's? Just turn on my hotspot? Other then the router I'd have to obtain a sim card? Is there an app to connect to the router?

We just installed a WiFi Ranger Osprey router that used the Air 360+ antenna. Very happy with it.

Yes, the Winegard Gateway will take an ATT, Verizon or T-Mobile Sim Card. It is a larger card than in a phone. We use a T-Mobile Alcatel 4G hotspot - 100 gb for $55. This is much cheaper than any of the SIM card plans we have found. We then use this as the source to our Winegard Gateway (will use SIM card, WiFi and possibly a hardwire cord). The Gateway then broadcasts its own SSID. I believe there are better routers, WiFi/cellular antennas but at higher cost. Ours works for us. At some point we will migrate to StarLink, which is not even in the same category as everything else. It will only get better.

Since we don't full time and already have 80 GB of data it sounds like all I need is the router, an ATT sim card and the winegard router app and I'm in business? Do they charge for the sim card? Or do I even need and app? Is it plug and play?

If you have an 80 gb plan, they should be able to add the SIM card on the plan. There shouldn’t be a charge for the SIM but there may be an activation fee.

I recently added the ATT SIM card. Thanks to a another member, i ordered online iPad SIM card added to my existing shared data plan for $20/ month. They also waived the activation fee. Put it in and power cycled it and it was set up.
As you stated, we no longer worry about the phone hotspot to watch TV.
