Our winter plans
We have settled in at Gulf Haven Campground in Gulfport MS for the winter. It is hot yet, but I am sure the cooler weather will be coming and comfortable. The park is a block from the white sand beach. There is almost always a breeze off the gulf to help with the heat.

The park, as well as the town of Gulfport, still show the affects of Katrina. There are many stripped foundations that show where houses were. Where I am sitting was under 30 feet of water during the storm. It is a decent park with activities and close to casinos, plus a lot of history in the area.
We are committed until 4/1, the longest we have ever been in the same spot. The duties for me are light, and Darlene is learning campground master software so she can take her knowledge to some places that want it at a later date.
If you travel Highway 90 along the coast, stop by and see us.

Was a little down the road in 1965...biloxi, keesler afb. It was a wonderful area back then except for the racist attitudes of some folks, no I10, dry county that served alcohol, great seafood, really really nice beaches. Enjoy all you can! John

Hey, Nunya,
Have you left Steamboat yet? It was good to meet a forum member. Enjoy your plans in Moab.
