Diesel Kleen , Opti-lube or Stanadyne for me ...Proven track record for these brands,If you go to any Diesel Forum folks will give all those a thumbs up....Sea-Foam is pretty old School not a lot of people are using it anymore for Diesel's anyway,My Duramax's Like Diesel Kleen the best it really runs smooth and quiet with it

Diesel Kleen, not sure about benefits yet. Just started recently and spend winter months in florida with truck getting occasional use and towing other 5-6 months...but spend month or more in one spot before moving to another area. John

I also use Diesel Kleen. Been using for 9 years off and on with two trucks (Ford 6.0L and 6.7L) no problems with either.

Diesel-Kleen. I've used it for four years in two Fords and I've been using it in the tractor for 13 years. I've never had a fuel problem with any of them. Sometimes the tractor sets for weeks (and months in the winter), all with no problem ever.
I've heard that Stanadyne is great stuff, but it can be difficult to locate. Diesel-Kleen can be found just about anywhere.
I always use it when towing, not so much when just using the truck to get around. The best I can figure, it helps my mileage about .5 mpg (I get right at 10 mpg when towing) more than enough to cover the cost of it.

SeaFoam here, mainly because that is what the diesel guys around here recommend. And old school isn't necessarily bad. Amazing how the price varies. NAPA gets $14 a pint for it, Bi-Mart sells it frequently on sale for $5 a pint. I stock up when it's on sale.

I used Diesel Kleen from the time my 2012 was new. I added it for almost every fill up and tried to stay right below the suggested amount on the back of the container.

If you read the Sea Foam label it states it removes moisture. That means it is going through your high pressure fuel pump. There are 2 things that destroy these fuel pumps dirt and moisture. Do you really won't to run water through a pump that will pump up to 25,000 PSI? Not good!

Re: how much Diesel-Kleen to use; I put in one ounce of it for every three gallons of diesel. The recommended amount on the container comes out to 1oz for 3.125 gallons, so I'm just a bit rich on the mix.
