Sharp Cabinet Corner on 3150RL
My husband has already cut his head open on the corner of the cabinet above the sink in our 3150RL. Has anyone come up with anything to put on the corner to protect your heads from injury? Or has anyone tried to round it off?

It got so bad with me on that corner, I had to do something. So I cut a piece of clear tubing and took a small chunk out of it so I could round the corner with it.
It don't seem to hurt quite so much now. I am with you, I have thought about rounding it off so I don't get anymore dents in my forehead.
That corner will put a knot on your head quicker than you can rub it.

I'm contemplating taking a Dremel tool to it and rounding it off. We've had several near misses.
I'd be interested to hear as well what others have done.

Mine has a good buildup of scalp and skin on it, so it doesn't hurt me as much as it use too.

I did a search for safety corner protectors, and this is just one that popped up-- http://www.amazon.com/b?ie=UTF8&node=166866011

Easiest solution.
....or if you want a less noticeable option.

For some reason I have never hit my head on that cabinet. But how many have smacked their heads on the top of the bedroom slide while making the bed? That will make you see stars!

I'm with Ron ... never hit the trim on the above sink cabinet. Right after we bought ours, I installed a spice rack on the outer end right above the trim piece ... maybe that is a subliminal caution device. Just a question ... do your fivers not have a counter top extension anymore that keeps you even farther from hitting your head?

My 2010 did not come with the counter top extension. I did add one to it. If I were taller I might not hit that corner.
Don't you know the dents in the forehead can make you hansom !!!
I like that bald headed helmet.

If someone has a good answer I would like to know it. I have told the factory reps that something should be done but as yet no changes have been made

we had the same problem on our 5th wheel? I used a floate and cut a piece off of it and sliced it and put it on the corner. You see these on bedroom slides so you don't hit your head. I also put them on our chairs and table to keep the wood from rubbing while traveling.

We got a big kick out of your funny responses!! I may have to get one of those bald head helmets to wear while riding my ATV in the mountains. Then people could laugh at me as well as at our little dog that rides in a padded box on the front of my machine. We do have the counter top extension, but my husband was standing on the living room side of the sink when he hit it. I've been studying the corner cushions, but I also like the idea of putting a spice rack there. We've only been on 2 short trips in our new 3150, but a month long one is coming up, and we hope we can keep our heads intact. Thanks for all the input!

Would you happen to have any pictures of your spice rack?
