Wow, that does stick out there. Any legal issues with it that far in front? I don't think those red reflectors will be legal in front.

I have the same setup but with my 150cc scooter it has worked great for 2 years now, just do Not put a cover on as you are driving or it blocks airflow to the radiator and also watch out when you are traveling around with the rack on with NO scooter ,I have almost hit the car in the parking space or stoplight in front of me

x2 I would change those out promptly. Red in front is illegal. Asking for some unwanted attention.

You might consider sticking a small flag on the front so you can readily see where the furthest point out is.

Same law in Illinois reference red lights/reflectors on the front. If nothing else get some yellow reflective tape at Walmart and put over the red while on the road. If that rides okay it could be a pretty good set-up.

so far the carrier on the front worked out. I do need to change the red reflectors and I need to move the front license plate so it's on the carrier. I might wire a couple amber lights on the carrier.

Kampincrazy,
I have a very similar setup. Been using it for about 10 years or so. Had a few scares when I hit some deep potholes. Mine can bounce up pretty high. One time thought it was going to land on the hood! Mine sits a bit closer to the front of my truck and does fold up when not in use. I have mine covered any time it looks like rain and have never had any overheating problems. Good luck and Happy Trails, HamRad
