On Line Glasses
I wanted a spare set of glasses "just in case". My existing spares were older prescriptions so when I used them it took awhile for my peepers to adjust. After a lot of checking on the 2 for 1 deals Louise convinced me that I only needed 1 spare set. Fast forward to Glasses USA.
You would think by the name that the product was made in the USA, how about Israel. Which is not bad except the shipment took about 3 weeks with Glasses blaming DHL and visa versa.
Now the glasses arrive and look good but NOT. They are too tight, the nose pad made a sore on my "beak" and my vision is out of focus at about 2'. If these had been a new script I would accept the fact that it would take awhile for my eyes to adjust but these are "spares". After a lot of communication back and forth they advised me to take them to another eye glass facility to confirm the prescription was correct. I told them to...........However Louise had an appointment at an eye Dr. so I brought the glasses along.
The prescription was "within tolerance" whatever that means, but there was a gap between the top of both lenses and the frames. He adjusted as best he could but there was very little change. With that I ordered glasses from him at a few dollars more the Glasses USA. I will have them in a few days not a few weeks. I have filed a complaint with Paypal who have already contacted Glasses USA for a refund. Now I get to wait some more.

I guess it's true what they say, if it's too good to be true,it probably is.
The bad thing is,it is the hard way to find out.

I use $39.00 glasses, they have been super. Sorry your company was not good. It is a crapshoot sometimes, you never know.

I have used Zennioptical.com twice and was good both times. Mine are progressive bifocals.

The bad thing is that I did check the ratings on a number of online companies as well as visiting a couple that advertised locally. Glasses USA had a good rating and on Bizrate had about a 90% approval rating. I guess I fell into that 10%.

Sorry you're having these problems! Let us know how it comes out. At this point it looks like something I'm going to avoid, but all companies have issues from time to time so just let us know.

Received an email from Glasses USA showing a credit issued back to Paypal. As of today it has not posted. I assume the glasses are mine as there wasn't any reference to returning them. I'll hang on to them until I hear different.

I too have used $39.00 glasses and have been pleased. That is just a one time data point so the next time may not be so good.

X2 Their prices are incredibly reasonable. One pair @ the doctors was about $300.......something similar @zenni's about $60.

I got 6 pairs from them, just ordered 2 more. (Driving: day, night, bi-focals, tinted, non tinted...)
We were in Vegas last year, ordered a set and somehow I was moving around and didn't get the glasses, I emailed them and they sent me a free pair. They didn't have to do that, I said I would pay for the replacements, but they sent a free pair anyway.
can't beat that..

Just received a meme from Glasses USA. They are sending me a shipping label to return the glasses. I guess once they receive them they will issue the credit ti Paypal. I wonder if I will be returning them to Israel?
