Bill,
The cost of yearly membership to Passport America is recovered with three nights on the road. I liked it well enough to purchase their life membership.

We stay for the winter in AZ and the summer in KS and still we make money on Passport America. We use them almost exclusively when traveling in between and when we do side trips like going to the Rally. The park we stayed in when Joyce was doing the Mural gave us a lower passport rate for the first three weeks we were there and then gave us an Escapee discount for the other partial week. Besides using their mail service, we also stay at Escapee parks when they are available. In our opinion both are worth the money.

We summer in Iowa and winter in Az., N.M., or Texas- We have used PA for a number of years and have recovered the annual fee with the first week of "travel" fees every year- Wouldn't be without it- JMHO- Don

You can't go wrong with Passport America. Many times a park will let you stay longer than published if they are not busy

Thanks for the input....I figured we would easily pay for the pa membership just with our two week trip to FL. Escapees, on the other hand, needs more research with all the different aspects of the club.

You're right about Escapee's it's kind of Good Sam without so much profit motive. We joined because of the Boot Camp and have stayed because of the mail service. We've also been impressed and plan to volunteer at what amounts to an assisted living for RV'ers at Livingston, TX that is a part of the Escapee's. It's nice to know something like that exists for us if we should ever need it.
