Prayers are coming your way. Glad to hear positive reports. OK MR MOM. Time for you to pay back what you have been blessed with so lets get in there and get that house cleaned up, clothes washed, and I don't know about your cooking, I'm thinking some catered meals from a fine establishment in your area might be the way to go so your lady can get her strength back. There is dusting to be done, floors to be mopped, shopping to be done and you are just getting started.

Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. As an update, Cathy can stand long enough to take care of bathroom business, and we did a washcloth bath this evening. She is starting to eat, but her appetite has not really returned yet. She is starting to complain more and more, so I know that she is on the road to recovery.

Now Bingo, let her complain all she wants as if you were in her position we would never hear the end of it. Now get her some good food to build that strength up and did you get all them chores done on the list I gave you? Don't forget to dust the furniture and that kitchen floor needs mopping after you have been in there messing things up. Scrub down the toilets, and put new linen on the beds. Run that sweeper again and this time empty the sweeper bag. Now when you get all that done let me know and I'll give you some more assignments. While you are at it can Cathy give you a checklist? Might work better for you to keep you up to speed on what needs to be done.

Your generosity in terms of supervisory guidance is overwhelming Phil. I have made a list of everything that you recommended! The list will be used to assign chores to the dear daughters with a caveat that the assignments came from some cranky guy in Alabama that could not even get our Armadillo trained!! That is the advantage of being a parent, assign chores and blame some one else!! As of this morning, Cathy is doing a little better but is still largely immobile. Temps are supposed to approach 70 degrees this afternoon before storms roll in and she is really wanting to get out on the porch to enjoy her favorite view of the river rather than the inside bedroom walls. She is getting restless!! Again, we appreciated the warm thoughts and prayers from all of our MOC family. As a little aside from everything, here is what she is missing:

Now Bingo calling me names won't help. I'm just trying to keep you on the staight and narrow. What are your daughters e-mail addresses, I need to send them some info about child abuse.
Hang in there Cathy still have prayers coming your way.

Thanks again all, Cathy made it to the living room last evening to reclaim her usual couch spot for a couple of hours. With the tornado and thunderstorm warnings, I prodded her by insisting that she abandon the bedroom (west facing) at least until the storms passed. She dozed off and I have to admit, it was nice feeling a little bit of evening normalcy return. She is eating and drinking well, and made sure that I got going this morning by insisting that I get up and get her morning coffee! Nice day out today but I hope all of the MOC weathered the outburst of storms okay yesterday.

Bingo & Cathy or prayers are with you for easing of the pain, a quick and full recovery and strength for you both. God is awesome and the two of you are in his capable hands. God bless you both.
