George,
I am really interested in what they do after the first of the year. Ours has done the "cycling" thing since we bought it and no one could figure it out. We tried the insulation in the chase behind the thermostat....no joy. When we took our rig to the factory in Pendleton earlier this year, they replaced the furnace and thermostat to no avail. If we are using the fireplace we don't have the cycling problem (I suspect that is because there is a heat source right there by the thermostat). Is your thermostat located on the wall at the end of the kitchen by the entertainment center? From your description, I think you have the same thermostat as we do the "DOMETIC COMFORT CONTROL CENTER;Part No. 3109228.001.
I believe it is a problem with the thermostat because you cannot adjust the "swing" which is the difference between the set temperature and the temperature at which the thermostat calls for heat. Please keep us posted and Merry Christmas.
Jack

Yes we have the same thermostat, But Im guessing since we don't have a second Air conditioner we don't Have the Zone 2 show up on ours like you do. Before they installed the old style thermostat directly to the heater, the only way we could get the heater to stay on for more than 5 minutes was to turn it up to 85* or 90* Or I had to shut it off and reset it by pushing the zone and the mode button at the same time while turning it back on. Heres a twist tho when set to 85* and above it would stay on till we shut it off. And if I reset it it would stay on for 20 to 25 minutes and then start cycling on and off again.

I still think it is a wrong set, that is the control board, and the thermostat have to be matched, the set of them are, or could be incompatible. But a new service company should be brought in. New ideas, and starting from scratch, troubleshooting wise.
We all are wishing you luck on this, as any of us could be in your shoes. So sorry you have to endure this in the winter.

Thanks Ozz I guess your idea is what there trying next, They have ordered a New Control Board and Thermostat that are compatible (2012 model) so we'll see if that works when it comes in. I am all for getting someone else in here at this point, but we'll wait and see if this works.

Whoooooooot Its Fixed, I have been keeping track of on off times since I got off work at 2pm . On for 13 to 17 minutes and off for 20 to 55 minutes. I know times will very depending on Temp set. But I am relieved its no longer every 4 to 5 minutes. Even with the temporary fix it was still On 9 to 12 minutes, and Off 10 to 17 minutes. Witch was more tolerable.
The Solution was like You said Ozz they matched a control Box with a Thermostat, it's a Dometic Comfort Control Center 2
If anything should change I will be sure to post.
