My Mods
Well, finally getting around to finishing up my mods (yeah, right). I need to take some better pics with my camera instead of the phone but I thought I'd start with a li'l teaser. The old j couch...well, it houses the furnace under the end, so I had to be creative. At the same time, the fridge doesn't hold much especially pop n water. So, I took out the j couch, bought a futon lounge (we rarely have guests overnite) and built a cabinet that houses a 125 can refrigerator. The j couch stuck out into the living room alot and the end of it really, really blocked the entry into the kitchen. Here's the end result...I'll post better pics, at different angles later.

Bill,
Nice change. That opens up your living area nicely. It would have been more accurate to say that you are finishing up THIS mod. Believe me, I know.

Creative! Sounds like the mod will suit your needs much better than the original configuration.

Intersting mod! Love out of the box creative thinking
(hmmmm, play on words? considering the new box/cabinet you have -- kkkk, more coffee for Carol -- not funny, sighhhh).

Great mod! After checking out your webpage and seeing all the custom cabinetry work you do, can't wait to see the rest of your mods.

here's a better pic of the cab...unfortunately, I had no choice but to build the cab that high...needed clearance for the furnace and of course the fridge. I'll live with that. Extra 3 openings for misc stuff. The fridge has a nice door lock on it to keep it closed during travels too.

BTW, this added almost 20" to the opening going into the kitchen...which is one great bonus.

Great job, Bill! You got me thinking about actually doing some of the great mods that I have seen lately and am in the process of doing some now. - Jim
