Cleaning bugs just got easier
So today I tried a new method for cleaning the bugs off the front of my Montana. First, I sprayed on my old reliable "Awesome", then wiped with a "Mr. Clean Magic Eraser". Followed by a wipe with a damp cloth. Easiest time I ever had getting rid of the bug bodies. And the black streaks never had a chance.

It will be interesting to monitor the graphics on the front end over the next couple of years to see if there was any impact to them?? Not saying there will be and definitely hoping there won't be, just curious??

The trouble with some of those potent cleaners is that they will remove the wax. I use an old body buff the D/W is finished with...rough enough to get the bugs off, but doesn't take the wax with them.

That stuff is “awesome”!
When I used it I noticed that it left a slightly yellowish film after I had cleaned. I went over the area with another cleaner to remove the film. Strange but the awesome took a lot of things off really easy, much easier than the cleaner I used to remove the yellowish film. I said all of that to say this, I think we should be very careful what we use on the finish. I think it would be best to keep it off the graphics as much as possible too.

We use awesome applied liberally and set for a couple of mins then soaped off. Four years and no damage to any graphics. Yes it will remove any wax and we solved that problems by not waxing the monster.

Same as richfaa, you must be sure to rinse off! And you will have to reaply your wax. Our graphics on the 05 were 4 1/2 years old, still no problems.
Best practice is to remove bugs daily when traveling, useing only clean warm water and a long handle wash brush.

Paul:
I've only seen one kind of Awesome cleaner. Comes in a spray bottle from Dollar Tree stores. I usually use a 50/50 mix with water.I've never had to use it full strength on any of my trailers.

I think this is the one you are looking for. I did find another product being called awesome-cleaner but it is citrus based and not the one being talked about to my knowledge.
