Montana 3075
Just traded in my 2004 Montana (2980),ordered a new 3075, that took 8 weeks to get. Ordered it while in Arizona, got back to Michigan April 23, and the 5th wheel was ready for pick-up. The 2980 was nice, but after three months of living in it (first time that long) you find out what you like n don,t like. I got a fair trade-in price back in Michigan, n made the deal. Being 65, who know how long i,ll enjoy RV.
The 3075 had a hide-a-bed with air matress, seems better, the 2004 had an island n was stuck with the jack-knife bed, hard on the back.
New RV has a king bed, convection microwave, bigger back window, aluminuim wheel,hook-up center(cool);Moyre ride system and numerous other changes that are standard equipment.
Being only 2 foot longer, the new design front-end n my slider hitch on my 2004 Chevy HD short box; can just about do a 90 degree turn with no trouble, great for parking. I just brought it home, so far I like it, pulled it about 150 miles, so far.
Pin weight isn,t much more than the 2004 model, n i won,t be using the washer/dryer feature.
Always wondered why people on the group traded their rigs after only having them for what seemed like a short time. i see why now, they keep changing them , and the resale valve seems to be holding up well. Not being a full-timer, i like to keep within my trucks range. Think this one will last me for awhile. My 2980 was a great rig, and the only promblem I had was the shower; n Keystone took care of me even after the warranty run out. What more can you ask, that people stand behind thier product.
Now that i,ve carried on, I,ll go back n scan a few other notes from other people.
