Spring in the Northeast???!
Just can't believe it is in the 60's today in the Albany, NY area. It is supposed to be in the 70's in New York City. Some spring bulbs are starting to come up already. This is just crazy! My son lives in Texas and the weather there is in the 40's today. I know it won't last and it does make you wonder what it is going to be like when the real spring arrives?! The lakes aren't frozen either! Just very strange is all I can say.

It must be wonderful! We're in Texas where it is 43', up from the early morning readings. Sadly, it's so warm in the east that the cherry blossoms are already out. That won't help the tourists who want to visit when the trees are all supposeably blooming in Washington, D.C.

It has been so warm in the Indy area that our Tulips are about 1 inch high already, and there is some other green stuff popping up. Must be a Global warming thing. Next thing you know the Snow Birds will be migrating here for the winter. Maybe I should go open up a campground for the snow birds.
Nah I think in a few days we will get a rude awakening and back to normal bone chilling days. But I must admit it has been nice all winter so far.

We hit 74 here in Stafford, VA today - a new record! It felt really strange to be working around the house with the windows open and wearing shorts! I gotta believe that the big guy ain't done with us yet, though. We need some good hard freeze weather to kill all the mosquitoes and other bugs, otherwise next summer will be grim! The "good" news is that we should be down to low 50's tomorrow.

The offical weather dudes from NOAA say this isn't caused by global warming but by the "El Nino". I wonder what caused the "El Nino"?
