In my rig, it was mounted to the back wall of the battery compartment just above the battery box.

There are lots of threads on this subject. Daryles has posted some very good pics in the past. Here are pics of my front compartment. It is my opinion that front compartment wiring is similar on everybody's unit - but it looks different (if that makes sense!). Mine is a 2018 model.
Find the red positive cable traced from the battery to the hydraulic pump. That is the line you need to find to replace the 50 amp breaker with an 80 amp breaker. The 80 amp breaker was ~$40 on amazon when I bought mine. I am sure other folks will chime in with helpful info.

Leave the 50A breaker alone.
Just add an 80A breaker and put the hydraulic system on it.
Before you start, post a picture of your current setup. Some have discovered they incorrectly wired the Circuit breakers from the factory.

Forget worrying about the color of the cable, as many rigs came with black positive cables and white negative cables. When you upgrade the breaker to the 80 amp one, be aware you will need to enlarge the hole in the ring connector if you don't replace it because the studs on the 80 amp one are larger in diameter. This is ours with the new 80 amp breaker. Notice that there are two cables on the load terminal, and one goes up to the hydraulic pump motor and the other goes down toward the inside electric panel via the battery disconnect switch. This works because you rarely are operating the hydraulic pump when there are loads on the inside panel 12 volt side. Also, you don't say what year your trailer is, but the 80 amp upgrade is only applicable when the cable size is #4 strand copper. Smaller diameter cable will not handle the higher amp rated breakers.

The one on the left is a 50A self resetting circuit breaker.
The right red self resetting circuit breaker 12v, 30A. It has 10 gauge wiring on circuit breaker
Blue: trailer brakes
Tan: tank heaters
Purple: slide control switch
Red 1: Power from 7 way cable/truck
Red 2: Power to Level-Up control panel
Red with inline 30A fuse: to solar MPPT
The 4 gauge wire interconnects the breakers, batteties and goes to the converter, hence 50A.

Awesome thread, I need to do the same. What do I search for on Amazon so I get the correct item?

I am late to this thread, but in the last picture in post #6 the wiring for the new 80 amp breaker is not correct. The battery wire goes to the 50 amp breaker at the top of the picture (would the breaker on the right if the picture was rotated correctly). Then a short jumper from that breaker to the other 50 amp breaker. That jumper is terminated one terminal of that 50 amp breaker. But the wire to the new 80 amp breaker is terminated on the other terminal of that 50 amp breaker. That means the 80 amp breaker is being fed by the 50 amp breaker. So the 80 amp breaker is not doing any thing. The wire to the new 80 amp breaker should be attached to the jumper. That is the battery source.
Here is the picture from post #6 above.

I don't know Bill. That looks like the wire direct from the battery. It lands on the Bat side of the CB and the OP stubbed in a new breaker directly off of the feed. The breaker on the right looks to be the downstream power CB. A better picture showing where the battery wire actually is would help a lot.

Thanks for checking me, Carl. But I still think I am correct.
Looking at the breaker on the right in your pic, there is a large red wire from the left terminal on that breaker (the one the jumper is on) that goes down and then toward the front of the pic presumably going to the battery.
Looking at the breaker on the left, there is a large red wire from the left terminal going down and turning back toward the bulkhead, presumably to the converter. (The wire you marked “wire from bat?”). That is where the new 80 amp breaker is also connected. It is also on the opposite side of the jumper which should be also connected direct to battery. And is if my statement in the paragraph above is correct.
If you are correct, then there is still an error. If your marked wire is from the battery, that would mean the breaker on the right is being fed from the breaker on the left thru the jumper.
Some wires with in-line fuses also connect to the jumper further confirming the jumper is, or should be, connected direct to battery.
Check me again. Would not be the first time I was wrong.

Hey Bill, I agree - it is wired incorrectly. I was wrong where I noted the red wire coming up from the bottom to the left CB was from the battery. It is not. That is the 12V feed to the converter. The converter feed is correctly wired as is is protected by the 50 amp CB. But the wire to the pump should be on the non-CB protected side (i.e. the right post of the left CB) as it then goes to the 80 amp CB.

Thanks, Carl. That’s what is so great about this forum. There are a lot of knowledgeable people here to fact check each other so we don’t guide someone down the wrong path.

Removed the auto-reset breakers
I replaced all of the re-settable breakers and used bus strips as well. Here is what mine now looks like:

Yeah, I did the same thing (bus bars) when I installed our solar system.
