Guess I'll add my two cents. Am we full timers? I really don't know.

We deeded our house over to our son 2 years ago. So, technically the house is his. But we return "home" several times a year for doctor appointments, vet visits for the dogs, to vote, to do repairs and fixes on the camper, truck and oil changes. During the month of January, unless we've traveled South, we'll sleep in the house because the cost of propane is just too much to heat the camper when it's near zero degrees.

We were home a short bit last fall to get a fence installed, and I was home long enough to harvest more firewood (the house has a wood burning fire place used for heat). We were home a couple years ago to get a new roof installed, and will plan trips back home so I can wash the camper.

My wife still works full time, although from home now, so we take her employment with us on the road. I did this this also all last year (worked from camper), all over East of the Mississippi River. I retired in January 2022. But she still works, and her office is located about 25 miles from the house. So, we still have connection there.

So, does that make us full timers? Maybe in reality it does. But it doesn't feel like it. I suppose it's no different than someone who full times and is using one of their kids home as their permanent place of residence and returning there to help out from time to time?

We've been living/traveling full-time in a 2023 Montana 3793RD. We really love this life. However, I'm starting to question if the Montana was the right choice or wondering if we ended up with the dreaded lemon? In 1.5 years time we've had 2 water leaks and just this week both den slides quit working within 12 hours of each other According to our RV Tech the slide issue has been a common problem due to poor design in some Montana's built within a certain 2 year time period.

I assume you have a water pressure regulator on the fresh water supply? Some parks have high water pressure (over 60 psi) which will blow water lines. You should regulate around 45 psi to prevent this. As far as the slides are concerned, what kind of slides are we talking about? Hydraulic or electric? Cable or schwintek? Impossible to answer that question without that info.

This is a 12 year old Thread asking who is a full timer. It was active for a bit back in 2012. Now, every few years someone Posts that they are a full timer and there will be a flurry of Posts. I doubt this Thread have much value any more. Never the less, lets try to keep it on topic and not digress to issues/problems/concerns with equipment.

Very familiar with regulator usage. Leaks are from other than plumbing. As for the slide issues they are both Schwintek. That is being taken care of.
