Another post about bad craftsmanship
Among other issues I’m dealing with there is this. They knew it was damage and instead of take 1 min to put a new piece they thought a sharpie would be better.
Everything else I’m having fixed but some of this stuff is so needless and such a easy fix if they just took a few mins to do it properly.

I know "what" I am looking at in your photo, I just don't know what I'm look for? I don't see it. I'm assuming you have a blemish somewhere?

Man, it’s always hard to find Waldo. I think I see a thin stain area on the corner and possibly at the bottom (yellow highlight in the pic). I have furniture touch up crayons that I would use to cover those up. Did I find Waldo?

I love that they just sharpied over it. That's the kind of thing I would do and say good enough and my wife would take away my sharpies....It's like the old trick of using white toothpaste to cover up holes in drywall.

As long as buyers keep accepting this garbage they will keep shoving them out the door like this.

I believe they would actually need to care about the customer before putting out their final product...sorry to say but as everyone has been reading & experiencing over & Over the past couple years is profit over quality is the higher priority of the two.

OK, I think I found "Waldo."
I've been studying this photo. I blew it up and looked at every detail and I think I found it. It's the corner. Looks like it got chipped and, yes, they just colored it with a marker.

I noticed that finally and my eye also took note of the strange graining on the clear wood above and left of the chip. Hope it looks much better than the photo. Looks like they really changed how much detail they put into the slide out wood trim facing these days.

I did not notice the chip...well then...thats a shame, and my DW would have MADE me care more about it than I normally would have.

Exactly. I fix those things myself. Not worth hassling with dealer shop. Mine was waiting 5 1/2 months as ut was and what they did fix was done poorly.

With fuel near $5 a gallon ain't no way I would drag a camper all the way to the dealer to get a chip fixed in some millwork . I'm not trying to beat anybody up but if you're not willing to repair very simple things like that yourself you're probably shouldn't own an RV. After you have bounced down the road tens of thousands of miles the problems are going to multiply tenfold

Making excuses for Montana poor quality is not an answer. Montana needs to step up and a provide a quality product. To many quality issues are not addressed at the factory or dealer ship.

I agree that thing could be better, but with soooo many people buying RVs they don't care. Just 1 company (Winnebago) has a 4.4 billion $ backlog of units to build.

So the people who are buying are the cause of poor quality? I think not. Poor quality is a Keystone and industry issue. Keystone the leader cannot even provide or engineer a consist product. Take the AC systems used in the fifth wheel which has changed 3 times in as many years 2019, 2021, and again 2022. Probably more but I'm not sure about the older AC unit. Each year they tell you its the best.

WOW, if that was the only thing wrong with my trailer I would be ecstatic. My trim is failing at the corner (very hard to fix) and pulling away from the wall. Leaked when brand new, now fixed, just had a $1,000 baggage door fail, I replaced, fireplace replaced, chair replaced, several blinds failed and replaced. I still haven't taken the trailer to a dealer, I do all my own work. This is why most of us are handy and carry a LOT of tools.
