A/C issue
2022 295rl. The AC on the heat pump only works on low. If I set the AC to high, the return air temp immediately returns to the room temp, turn it to low AC, and it drops to 20 degrees below room temp. The heat side of it works fine. I'm thinking it may be a wire not crimped somewhere. Any ideas?

I was able to talk with an AC tech at Airxcel. He's pretty convinced that I've got two wires plugged in wrong on the control board. He gave me pretty specific instructions on how to check them. I'll try and get that done and post my results afterwards in case someone else has the same issue.

Mike, did you get your AC working?

Kind of. The tech had me switch 2 of the wires at the control box, now the high ac works but the low fan doesn't come on. At least it cools on high now. I'm still working on it though to try and figure out the low fan issue.

Mike, have they checked to make sure you have the right control box? With shortages, they may have gotten the wrong box in. Not saying that’s the case, but it’s another thing to check.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check that out.

Ok, so the thermostat isn't sending 12v down the low fan wire. So Airxcel is sending me a new thermostat under warranty. But after reading all the threads about Micro Air, I'm going to get one of them and use the replacement as a backup or to switch back if I sell the RV.
