Dining Chairs Too Low
Hi there, we have a 2020 3120RL and the chairs seem very low for a normal sized person. There doesn't seem to be any way to adjust the table height that I can see. Have others experienced this and what have you done (other than more cushions) to resolve it?

The chairs that came with our unit had high backs that continually bumped the window valences. We got rid of those and bought two different chairs that work for us.
I think the table is higher than standard table height…not that the chairs are too low. We just live with it. Frankly we eat on TV trays most of the time anyway.

We eventually took all our chairs out and replaced them with folding, small stools, light weight and can be put completely out of the way. We got them at Wall Mart, something like $19 each. Works very well for us, we very seldom, if ever actually eat at the table anyway. I also unscrewed the table from the floor so it can be moved around. This works for us.

We have a 2021 3121 with same problem. We took the chairs to an upholstery guy. He put a bottom in them with firmer cushions. Now they're like they should have been. I think 75$ a piece but worth it.

The table is to high for the chairs they use. I cut the bracket off that holds the table up, to suit me. Not to difficult.

There are a few photos of what we did in this link. Works much better for us and allows access to the back without opening a slide as well. They are on my profile but I couldn't see how to attach them...

I put a piece of plywood in ours. made all the difference in the world. Goes in from the bottom. Just cut it so it'll rest fully on the top of the frame and put it in one end at a time. Height is just right now.

We dumped them and had folding chairs built for us by Brand and Hall.

Others may be different..... But our table is right in the range of standard height.
Quote:
How Tall is a Dining Room Table? The average dining room table height is between 28 and 32 inches. Also referred to as standard height or regular height tables, these tables are most compatible with 18 to 23-inch chairs, stools, and benches. When shopping for a new dining room table set, you should strive for your guests to have approximately 10 inches of space between the seat cushion and the top of the table.

Our problem was the poor suspension under the cushions which not only made you sit too low but were also uncomfortable. Adding the plywood made them just right.
