While riding around the side streets in Rawlings, WY, visiting yard sales, we spotted this old red dwelling. It had a placard over the front door but we couldn't read it so we stopped to investigate, thinking it might be some sort of historical site. HO,HO,HO, it's a private home and the swinging placard informs visitors of the names of the people that live there.

That has got to be one interesting house on the inside.

Here in Salem Va we have several houses probably about ten, similar to that one. They are all on one street in a row. They are all painted different colors and trimmed in different colors. We call them the painted ladies.
Workmanship just doesn’t happen anymore. It’s too expensive and nobody to do it. These houses were built in a different age when people didn’t have all the stuff we have today. A fancy house was all you had and you took great price in it, if you had enough money.

We wanted to stay at the Seminoe, SP but it was closed because of low water levels in the lakes.

One day after searching up and down dirt roads in the Seminoe SP looking for wild animals, we found most but not any mule deer. Upon returning to the city we stopped at a local bank to get some ATM money for dinner and yard sales the next day. Out in the bank's back parking lot, in a grassy area, we found the mule deer.
