Those hoses might be nothing but a surgical tube like that stretches and collapses. I don't buy these again after it failed with one seasons of use.

I have several sections of 10' hose to use as needed, if they don't reach I have a 50'
Zero G hose.

Maybe couple of years ago DW bought some collapsible hoses from the “as seen on TV” shelves in Walmart near the checkout stations. Those WERE garbage! Came apart at the connection point with very little use or pressure as a yard hose. I have a couple of them still and use them for rinsing the tanks. When they blow I will be done with them.

I have had tried a couple of those collapsible hoses for my RV's. I don't like them. They are ok for intermittent light use like washing you RV or watering plants. They are not designed to be under constant pressure for long periods of time, like using it for your water supply hose to your RV. Both of mine burst after being under pressure for a couple of days.
They are not a free flow hose like your normal hoses. They have a restricter on the end of the hose where you connect the nozzle. If it didn't have that restrictor on the end, the hose would retract every time you squeeze the nozzle. They need that restricted flow so the back pressure keeps the hose expanded while you use it.

Now that is very interesting. I did not know about that and will check it out. Thanks.

The zero g hoses from the looks of them do not expand or contract they seem like full size hoses

Does anyone have any experience with these hoses. I like, the idea of them collapsing but don't know if they're any good or worth the price. Thanks

Just bought the Silver Bullet 25ft one but haven’t used it yet. I bought it for sewer clean outs tho. Will be using this weekend so hope it’s a good hose.

I was just on the zero g website looking at the hose. It is not one of those expanding and contacting hoses. They never show you the inside diameter of the hose at the coupling end. They always show you the coupling from the side or at an angle so you can't see the inside diameter of the hose.
Go to the Zero G website. Look at the picture of the coupling. They do the same thing. They show you a picture of the coupling at an angle so you focus on the threaded portion where you connect it to the hose bib or attach the nozzle. They want you to think that is the diameter of the hose but it's not. If you look past the white washer you will see the actual inside diameter of the hose is a smaller.
I'm not saying that it's not a good hose but all these "as seen on TV hoses" do the same thing.
The only way to know is to buy one and post your review here..

I have a collapsible hoses you just persuaded be to get rid of it.
Do get a drinkable quality hose. I know a guy that almost died from drinking out of his garden hose. I don’t know how long water had been setting in it out out in the hot sun but it did make him sick. Be careful!

They typical RV water hose the white one is either 1/2 inch or 5/8. as seen here:
https://www.campingworld.com/apex-ne...E&gclsrc=aw.ds
The ZeroG is the same diameter 5/8 as the largest water hose (white version). With that said the water Flow should be the same since they are the same diameter, next question is how it holds up...

We've been using the blue Zero G hoses for about a year and a half now. So far, so good. Haven't notice a bad taste.

I always use a water filter on my hose at all campsites. You never know how the water will effect you. So I filter all my drinking water. I also use the same filter to wash my car. You would be amazed at the difference that filter makes. They sure take a lot of the crap out of the water. I just have the blue one.

I have bought a half dozen of these type hoses over the last several years for our house patio. Every single one has dripped, leaked, or blown out. Each year a new one comes out, claiming it’s the best, even using a well-known spokesman. And I fall for it, buying a new one. And I’m dissatisfied.

I have been thinking of getting a couple of ZeroG hoses for the trailer since my wife bought one for use in the garden.
Changed my mind when her hose split a seam just the other day after a few months of intermittent use. Bummer. I had high hopes of getting rid of the white with blue stripe hoses.
