TPMS for 5th Wheel
2019 Ford has the setup to receive a trailer TPMS system. Has anyone gotten a system that uses the monitoring through the vehicle? If so, which TPMS and or sensor system did you use?
Also, looking at Goodyear Endurance ST 235/85R16. Thoughts and opinions? Thanks for any input.

You have to purchase the TSPM thru Ford. Must have a sending unit mounted to trailer and the wiring harness to plug into truck. That is how my MY17 works.

Ten years plus with the Pressure Pro TPMS, can't say enough of it, simple install and works well.

if you want to take advantage of Ford's TPMS, you to order their OEM system. I think you also need the Ultimate trailer tow camera package.

I have used Pressure Pro for 12 years--very easy to set up, reliable, and no additional wires. Where are the sensors mounted on the trailer wheels? Inside on the rim? I really prefer the external valve stem mounts.

Ford trailer TPMS kit
It does require the “ultimate trailer tow camera system”.

I can't help you on the TPMS, but on the tires, Sailuns are the tire of choice for heavy 5th wheels.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the Goodyear Endurance for the lighter fivers and the Goodyear G614's for the heavier units like most of ours? The G 614's have treated me well. I'm on my second set now and have over 10,000 miles on them and they don't show any wear what so ever. Sailuns 637's (I think that is the number) are what Keystone is putting on the units now. They are a 14 ply just like the Goodyear G 614's and about 2/3s the price of the G 614's. I went with the G 614's because checking around while on the road, I had a problem finding the Sailuns for replacement if something did go wrong thus the Goodyear G 614.

Finding Sailuns is pretty much a thing of the past, online is easy. Walmart now carries them, Big O tires carry them, and stock them . I wouldn't hesitate to go Sailuns.

Ford TPMS
I have both, the Ford integrated backup camera and the TPMS. Both work as advertised (and it's nice not having another LED on my dash). I just wish the TPMS would also show the tire temperature. Aside from that, I love both.

I have 2019 F 250 Platinum and just made the first payment! I got this one because it had all the safety features and tow packages. Dealer knew nothing about any of these features.
***If you can wait a wireless camera system is supposed to be available on the 2020 and is supposed to be sync 3 compatible.
I am going to wait but the one available now is supposed to be really good.

How did you run the cable from the truck and up to the camera on the back.
I had rather have no wires visible except for a little at the back of the camera up top.
I am probably going to wait on the wireless one available 2020 and is compatible with Sync 3.
I hope my information on the wireless is available

I have not installed mine as yet - sitting in the garage and I keep forgetting it .
Regardless, I saw a 2019 with it installed this past weekend - two cables from the king pin - one the normal one, the other the one for the backup camera and the repeater for the TPMS. (By the way, the TPMS sensors are mounted inside the tire just like the auto tires.) The camera and TPMS cable with a unique end so that it can only plug into its own counter part. The dealer had installed it in both the trailer and the truck for the customer -- had drilled another hole in the bed of the truck beside in the inbed 7-pin connector.

I have a '19 F350 with the trailer stuff and opted for the TST507 because I wanted the temps on both my fiver and the smart trailer behind that. It is comforting to me, personally, to see all the numbers at once so I can maybe see something getting warmer before it becomes critical. If I didn't have the smart trailer, I may have gone with the integrated version. Good luck with whatever you end up settling on!

You get a replacement plug with the kit. You replace the 7 pin plug at the bumper and the new one has 7 pin and the plug for the TPMS and back up cam. Simple switch out at the harness under the truck. If you use the back up cam you run a cable (provided) to the rear of the trailer and near the front it connects to the other cable that has the TPMS receiver and then the one plug to go into the outlet next to the 7 pin. Everything then feeds to the screens on the dash. I love mine, but like said, wish it had temp readings also. You also have to change out the valve stems on the trailer.
