Deflectors
Does anyone have a wind deflector on the top of the truck to help with gas mileage? If so, does it really help? Is it hard to put up and take down?

The very design of the front cap of the Montana's and Mountaineer's eliminates the need of a deflector.

Glenn and Loraine,
That's what Montana says in their brochures. But, there are a lot of things Montana has said in their brochures that have been proven incorrect.
That said, this topic has been discussed a number of times before. Try searching on the topic. From my recollection, there are those who have tracked their mileage with and without the deflectors and found little or no improvement.

I've had one on and got exactly the same mileage I get without it. I don't think they are worth the money. It's just another "gimmick" that I fell for and found out I didn't need it.

I agree with Glenn, I think Keystone has done their home work on the end cap. Our Montana is our 3rd 5th wheel and is by far the best towing. Its to easy to forget its back there. I see no need for a wind dam.
