High Quality Work
We are now on the second trip with our New Montana High Country.. Have had several problems and issues, and I guess the good thing this is our Third Fifth Wheel and I do understand that any RV is an earthquake in motion and needs to have small repairs done.. The normal things that can be repaired with a screw driver, glue, wd 40 and the such.. Our fascia came off on passenger slide out..several other issues.. But I was lubing the tracks for the sliding mirror wardrobe doors when I saw this.. It is attached on the picture.. Wonder if the CEO knows of this Quality work? Thanks

How did you not see that on your PDI! It doesn't look like the doors would even go pass each other.

Good question.. Was not looking for that kind of issue.. It is on the inside of the sliding doors.. The door that slides to the left.. Not what I expected.. Thanks

Looks like a “poor man’s over travel stop. The cheap drawer slides they use are problematic, they’re light duty and won’t take any over travel at all. I’ve replaced all 4 of mine with 75lb KV slides.

Yes it is for a stop.. To keep the locks from hitting.. They could have put a proper bumper there....But did not..

The quality control is definetly not there any more.
What we pay for our RV’s today should bo at least 2 yr warranty especially with low quality workmanship they put out.
It just shows that the quality of craftsman they hire are mediocre at best.

The quality control now is no different than it was on our 06 3400 a trip down any Rv assembly line will show you what kind of quality control is used.

More Quality Work
Morning...As bad as it seems, new problems cropping up on our NEW montana High Country fifth wheel...
The drawer that holds the waste basket came off....Upon inspection the frame work is there, but it was not secured into the floor.. The screws were there just not screwed in....So had to repair the frame work and the drawer..
Next today May 22, the converter failed.. I have charged the battery and done all the proper inspections with a volt meter an no current coming from the converter....
We are in Haines Alaska, and no part to be found....
I am going to post on you tube just how bad this coach is...
As of today I have left several messages with a rep from Montana.. Not a single word back... This is Bull Crap....Thanks

If you are not dry camping and have electricity then you can hook up a battery charger to your battery on high automatic. This will suffice until you can get an converter. I had to do this several years ago on account of the same problem you have and it works very good. I always carry an charger with me now on account of the exact problem you have. Hook it up and forget about it. Just be sure it's set to 10 amp automatic.

I am assuming you checked the Converter's Reverse Polarity fuses after you found there was no 12V output? If the battery has been disconnected, this may be a result.

Hi
The CEO is very aware of the quality the CEO is also aware of the bottom line.
The CEO is so aware that the phone number if you can get it for the CEO doesn’t answer and messages are not returned.

Yet, we still keep buying our rigs knowing that there are going to be all kind of problems. Nothing from the RV industry is going to change.

Elkhart, Indiana – Thor Industries Inc. has made a series of organizational changes at Keystone RV Company, Dutchmen Manufacturing, and CrossRoads RV.
Matt Zimmerman will assume the role of CEO of Keystone, after serving for four years as Keystone RV Co.'s president. In his new role as CEO, Zimmerman and a select group of Keystone's operations team will provide oversight to Keystone RV Co., Dutchmen Manufacturing, and CrossRoads RV. Zimmerman will continue to report directly to Thor President and CEO, Bob Martin.
