Looking to "Snowbird in Monty" soon Advise
We recently bought a spot on a golf course in Quincy, Wa and plan on making that our summer stay. But want to head south for snowbird fun. We're not tied to any state (Ariz, Nev, Tx, etc) just want warmth and the potential to buy another RV slab. Attached apt would be nice but not nec. Nor is a golf course but a pool /lake/river would be nice. Arizona is the natural thought but don't even no where to head except "south" any thoughts??

Come try out a few places and decide for yourself. AZ is a very diverse state with lots to offer. Yuma, Tucson and Phoenix area all get a lot of snowbirds.

Can't get much more south than Florida. It is very "snowbird friendly" I hear so you will have lots of company and the difference in temps during the winter from the upper Gulf Coast to central Florida are significant.
Where is Quincy?

There are a number of spots on the East side of Yuma that would meet your expectations.

Might you share some locations in Yuma to research?

I understand that one. We have 12 yes I said 12 grandkids between us!!! Some in Arkansas, some in Carlsbad, NM and some in NY. But we are also still working full time so we aren't to the full timing yet anyway. But then again it might be easier to get the grandkids to go with us if we had a place near the beach in Florida??????

Six years fulltiming, 12 years snowbirding. Recommend You need to travel, experience the country, explore, before making any serious decisions.
