Hi everyone - we are new members
We are glad to be part of this group. It looks fun and informative.
We have had our current 5er for a about a year. It was a very interesting 1st few outings, since we had NEVER towed anything before. Needless to say, we traveled by ourselves until we got use to what we were doing and now we love it! We just returned from Spring Training in Phoenix with a stop in Palm Springs for a few days.
We already want to upgrade to a bigger rig - a Montana.
We live in Antioch, CA (between Sacramento and Oakland, sorta). Between us we have 5 grown children, 3 daughters and 2 sons, 10 grandchildren with one on the way and 1 great grandchild and 4 cats. So far the cats haven't traveled with us, but a couple of the kids have.
On one of the outings after almost running out of diesel in the near dark, in the pouring rain, after a few shouts we made the decision to get a larger fuel tank put in. It has been wonderful and the best thing we have done so far. No more worrying and wondering if we can find and get to a gas/diesel station and if we did get to it, can you get in and out easy.
Happy RVing.
