Cable television
First time that I've used the coach cable television hookup (booster turned off as needed) and am getting very poor reception (snowy). I've checked the reception directly from post to the television and it's good. The coach antenna function has always worked fine. Does the coach connection coax feed into a splitter with the antenna and main coax line? If so, where might that be located? Any other problem-solving suggestions would be appreciated. -- Thanks

Sometime the RV park cable isn't very good, I find it changes from park to park. Also you may have a bad cable that you use to connect to the post in RV park.

RV park post and my connection cable are fine. Checked them by running it directly to the television and got good cable reception.

Some one posted on an older thread with the coax wiring schematics for older and newer trailers. I will see if I can find it. Or maybe someone else already has a link to it.

We would all get better responses if we read the posting before we leap to a conclusion. Yes there is a splitter. You can see it here in the diagram appropriate for your year Montana. TV Wiring Diagram
Exactly where the splitter is located is the $64K question. I would guess near the batwing antenna booster switch. I would remove the antenna booster switch and ensure you have tight cable connections.

I had the exact problem not too long ago after 10 years of working perfect. The problem ended up being the "jumper" shown in John Kohls diagram provided by Carl. Apparently when I was working on the surround sound system I disturbed the jumper enough to to mess up the poor crimp ends Montana uses. Replaced the ends on the jumper with good compression fittings. Problem resolved. Jim

I had the experience of coax cable connections loose in the convenience center. Once tightened the cable reception was much improved.

Have you re-programed the television to find the cable stations?

Yes. Pretty sure it's a connection issue - just got to track it down.

One of my splitters is just behind the convenience center. Most of my coax connections were loose everywhere. For park cable I have to tur off the antenna booster amp behind the front TV.

As others have said, Keystone is notorious for using poor crimp connections on the RF cable. Check those first - behind the convenience center, in/out of the splitter, in/out of the preamplifier (The cable doesn't get amplified here, but it does get switched in the preamp), at the connector behind the TV, and thhe jumper between the TV and wall connector. Chances are you'll find a bad connection at a crimp. It may be helpful to have someone watch the TV while you "massage" each connection to determine if you find one that is mechanically intermittent.
Wire doesn't fail like that (unless it has been damaged) - chances are the problem is in a connector. I had at least 4 bad ones in my unit when it was new, and have developed one more since then.
There is a chance you'll have a "mid-run" connector, especially if your TV is in a slide. If that's case you'll have to dig some, but go for the low hanging fruit first.
Good luck

we purchased a DI>SH staelitte system to install in our 2016 Montana 3790RD. When we initially tried to hook up cable from parks to watch, using the top connector (CABLE) would not make the TV work. Moving the park cable to SATTE:ITTE Living Room/Bedroom, wegot TV reception. Now, trying to hook up sattellette using the two satellite bibs, nada.....nothing......connection just sits. If I run the cable thru; a window and hook up the cable directly to the box then I can receive service. Has anyone else had problems with trying to hook up cable or satellite to Montana 3790RD?

On my 3160 the bedroom and outside cable reception is great but the big tv in the living room is not so good. On satellite feed no problem so I am sure that some where in the wiring they have did a crappy job on one of the splitters or put a nail or screw through the cable.
