We're a two-RV family
Never thought I'd do this, but I bought a second RV, a 19-ft 2003 Chateau TT.
I love my Mountie for long in-place stays, but wanted something for small campsites, short-notice/short trips, and for places I can't get the Mountie into (my 2WD truck can't take the Mountie everywhere I'd like to go). The second RV route was way cheaper than buying a new 4WD truck. I will miss my recliner when we use the Chateau!
We haven't taken it out yet (it needs TLC first). My kids think I'm crazy; they think I should just travel in the Mountie for more than the three months a year we do already. But I told them the RV lifestyle is more about where you travel than what you travel in.
Do any of you have more than one RV?

Yes we have a pretty unique approach also. We do long off-road trips to remote areas or areas that are hard to access. We have an outfitted Toyota Land Cruiser and a Turtleback expedition trailer that make for some pretty neat trips. We did a 4000mi trip from SC up into the North Maine Woods and Quebec back country with it last year. It's a completely opposite experience than a big fifth wheel but we love it equally.
Check out www.turtlebacktrailers.com to see them. We are the talk of the campground in that thing! Typically we are off the beaten path so it doesn't happen often in that setup. I need to get a pic of the two units side by side. Night and day, David and Goliath but it's funny that certain things don't change (like the hot water heaters).

We've discussed this a number of times. For us it didn't make the cut, but can sure understand why it would work well for others.

We to are looking at another camper a motor home. My wife has back trouble and can't ride very far. I drove my tow truck less then 200 miles from June of last year until now. We will keep the HC and hopefully be able to travel in a MH. FINGERS CROSSED

We have a Casita for those hard to get to camping spots - a nice option.

We are also a 2 RV household. A 2011 Montana 3400 and a 2016 R-179 R-Pod.
I really like the Pod but my sis hates it, oh well I bought it for me not her.

We've been a two RV family, and a two boat family. Each case was because we purchased another RV/boat, before selling the old one.

I don't want to admit how many RVs i really have. Lets just way we have two that we use regularly for overnight traveling our Montana and a Lance Truck Camper. Almost sold the Lance last year in favor of a small TT but the Lance is so nimble. It will go and fit almost anywhere.

We have two. Our 34RL Monte and a 26 ft Kit Companion. The Monte is our home and when we take trips ----where we move a lot---we go in the Kit. We did 13.000 miles this last fall in the Kit. Missed my heated recliner but had a great time. Mostly, it is hard for the length of the Monte to fit in some spaces and certainly hard to make the turn at some narrow camp spots. The Monte also pushes the recommended weights for my truck and safety is very important to me. We move the Monte from it's winter home in Chico, CA to it's summer home at Lake Almanor, and then back. The kit does the Vacation trips. Works out very well. Fortunately we have good storage options available.

Also in the crowd with two. The Montana will be our home but also have a 1958 vintage Rainbow canned ham we enjoy taking to rallys and weekend camping. My grandfather bought it new.
