Awning replacement.
Just noticed, since our last outing, that our awning material is worn through in a number of spots along the top rail. Not sure if this normal for a 2008. At any rate it looks like a replacement is in our future.

Our '10 is getting close as well. The slide out covers are even worse. I'll be going with this to replace them: http://toughtopawnings.com/how-to-re...ng-fabric.html Don't know about the awning.

You are talking along the very top, next to the trailer? Most likely sun-rot. Even while rolled up, this is constantly exposed to the UV rays. I learned the heard way to keep 303 protectant applied once a month to this.

Thx Mark. That's exactly it. Will use 303 after I get replacement.

The south Texas sun got to my 2006 awning last year. I opted for an automatic awning with a metal cover--great--easy to use. Keep improving this rig and I will make a lot more years!

Ours is a warranty replacement. it is separating so called the dealer, sent some pictures then keystone approved, they e-mailed me its in. i called to make sure the right awning was ordered because its a 100 mile round trip before i went to get it, and found out they ordered the wrong one. BUT not until after the old one was removed and exchanged and had to get the old one back and put it back on. NOT HAPPY.

Agree with timandsusan, the automatic awning with the metal cover is great. Works like a dream when extending and retracting. Lots of protection for the awning fabric.

Just got an E-mail from my dealer that my new awning will be here around the 15TH. So they say. But what gets me is my Jensen radio the blue tooth dosent work so i contacted Jensen directly and they had me do some things and it still would not work and they said to contact my dealer for a warranty replacement. Now here is the issue. My dealer said that keystone will NOT cover the radio EVEN though its under warranty and i have to deal with Jensen direct. WHAT the HECK. I wonder if my dealer is screwing with me and dosent want to deal with it or is this Keystone? Can anyone help here i want to contact keystone and ask but not sure where to start.

A new awning probably would have been cheaper
Congrats on the new trailer
