Tank Capacities? Black/Gray/Galley?
I have a 2004 2955 5th Wheel, The manuals give minimal information and nothing on the capacities of the tanks other than the fresh water tank (60 gallons). I thought I might try to partially fill them with water and degreaser and let them slosh around a few hundred miles to clean them. Problem is I don't know how much water is needed to do this. I think about 25-30% full should work. I have also heard of people using ice in the black water tank to help break up any solids, any experience with this would be appreciated.

Keystonerv.com has an archive brochure site that will provide specifics on your unit. If not clogged, best approach is to either back flush or fill thru the toilet with a hose and re dump. With a clear back flush you can see when purged.

This site will answer your questions. http://www.keystonerv.com/previous-y...tana&year=2004 The fresh water includes water heater and water lines. My spects say 60 gal fresh water but the tank is stamped 45 gal. then add the 12 gal water heater and I do not know where the other 3 gallons are except the lines. Also the 76 gal gray is actually 2- 38 gallon tanks 1 for the shower and the other is for the galley.

So, if construction methods remain the same, does our 3611 RL have 2 46 gal gray tanks, or are the tanks different sizes based on projected use? Thanks in advance.

Paul-- your answer has already been given to you from the others that have posted but I would not us degreaser in the freshwater tank because some of that will remain there but you can use it in the black and two gray tanks. I use Cascade dishwasher soap with Dawn (if it doesn't have Dawn in it I dump a cup of Dawn down the stool before leaving along with the dishwasher powdered soap) in the tanks and fill partially them with about 10 gallons of water and drive to my next setup site and let it slosh around while driving. I then dump the tanks in this order-- black, galley gray, and bathroom gray. I usually do this order any time I dump because the two gray tanks then rinse the sewer hose for me too. If I am set up and the bathroom gray gets full before the others are ready to dump, I leave some water in that tank instead of emptying it out totally so I have plenty of bath water to rinse upon dumping the black tank when full or nearly full.
miatadoc-- you are correct. Your specs for your gray tanks is 93 gallons which is 46 plus or minus gallons per tank!

Rondo;
FWIW, earlier today I came across some information from a senior Keystone sales rep that indicated the bathroom gray tank was a 50 gal model; the galley, 40 gal. M
