Convection Oven/Microwave
I hope I am putting this in the right place so here goes, have not used the convection oven that much. Trying to get rid of so many cooking items in the storage area. What does everyone use that would work in the convection/microwave without having 2 of everything. Convection is new to me in the Monty so trying to re-stock with the proper items.
Thanks for any advice in advance. Joe

We use the same type of utensils we would use in a regular oven. Pyrex, baking sheets, etc.

Same as Dick and Joyce. We also have some cast iron that will fit in and still rotate.

Thanks Dick, That helps, and also from Bill and Patrica on their comments. I was going to ask about the rotating on convection but they answered it. Thanks for the help. Its hell getting old and somewhat on the slow side anyway. thanks all. Joe

Hi Joe, My understanding of a convection oven is it is like a normal oven but with a fan to stir the air.

Jim is correct. Be sure to elevate whatever container you are cooking in so that it allows air circulation all around it.
DW loves ours so much we bought one for the S&B and you know who got to remove the old microwave and install the new convection/microwave.
Momma is happy so it's a happy home...

Our Montana is my first experience with a convection oven. I love it!

We like the convection oven and have no special panware.

We bought a Montana 20th Anniversary 3121RL which has a High Point Convection/Microwave. My question is on the inside Rt wall there as what is an opening that is covered with what appears to be card board which looks like is maybe coated with something. Is this supposed to stay there? Was afraid was missed when installed. Is Model EC942K9E. Thanks for any info.
