Mysterious white powder
While I am not planing to use the Montana for a few months, I thought it would be a good idea to give it a thorough cleaning inside and out. I went up on the roof and cleaned/scrubbed and checked all of the caulking and washed and waxed the fiberglass. I used a household cleaner diluted 1 cup to 2 gallons of water and a soft nylon brush to clean everything. Now I have noticed that every time it rains I get this mysterious white powder at each corner right under the down spouts. I went back up onto the roof to inspect it and see nothing unusual going on. The cleaner I was using is called Tuff-Stuff and was recommended and purchased at the local Keystone dealer, it is what they say they always use and is good for black streak removal. The instructions say that it is excellent to use on natural and synthetic rubber, fiberglass, plastics, stainless, aluminium, vinyl flooring, glass and painted surfaces for removing "tough dirt" and to use full strength. This powder that is left behind has the consistency of ashes. Anyone out there seen anything like this?
