New 3400RL
Hi Everyone:
Just ordered a new 2008 Montana 3400RL. We should be receiving it in about 6 weeks. We ordered the interior colours in Desert Sunset but the only picture I could find of this colour scheme was in an old 2005 brochure. Has anyone seen this interior colour and if so, does it look good? From looking at the 2007 brochure, I wasn't too keen on the Sapphire Blue or the Venetian Gold. This was the only other available colour. I hope it is ok.

Congratulations on your new Montanta! We just picked ours up last Saturday and abosutely love the Saphire color.
My husband wanted the Ventetian Gold, but I wasn't sure about the green chairs. The Desert Sun I believe is a more "earthy" tone and was my first choice, but my husband did not care for it as we always go "earthy". We opted for the Saphire color and glad we picked it.
It is a matter of personal preference and you will find many different opinions and points of view. I think any color you chose in these coaches are beautiful. You will be happy with what you picked.
We are taking ours out this weekend for it's first trip and can hardly wait!
Happy Rving!
Sue

We have the Desert Sunset interior in ours and really like it. It has nice mellow colors and everything blends well. When we were looking at RVs, so many manufactures had what we considered gaudy colors especially in the color of the bedspreads. At least Montana has decent colors to choose from.
Congratulations on your purchase, the hard part now is waiting for it to arrive.

PaintPro -
Congratulations! We ordered the Desert Sunset with our 2007, and had it in our 2003. Creature of habit I guess, however the Saphire did catch my eye.
Not great shots, but a few:

We originally wanted the Sapphire but instead we went with the Desert Sunset and love it.
Yours is a 3400 and ours is a 3485 but the only real difference is the number of slides and we have the side aisle. You can see some of our interior pictures here>> http://s89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...timingit/3485/

Congrats on your new 3400RL! I also prefer the Desert Sunset over the other two color choices. Now the hard part begins, waiting the six to eight weeks for you new coach to arrive.

You guys and the interiors...I prefer whatever the DW says I prefer.
On edit...except for Dave, of course.

Our dealer had only one 3400RL in stock (which is the same model we've ordered also), and it was the Desert Sunset color. My wife originally was considering that color, whereas I preferred the blue shown in the brochure. Luckily our dealer also had a Montana, different model though, in the blue. When we looked at that one my wife quickly changed her mind and we went with the blue interior.
I think the blue looks better when you see it in person. One big selling point to us was that the carpet is a slightly darker color that the other two choices which we felt would hold up better under our two Labrador Retrievers as they're not very good at wiping their paws before entering the camper.
