Parts for Montana
I find it hard to understand why my dealer ( Mike Tompsons RV ) cant get parts for my Montana in a timely fashon.
I have been waiting for four months for a simple part for my draps in the bedroom slide area.
I could have make the parts by now, but I ordered them from the dealer with no results so far.
Why cant we order direct from Keystone and elimate the middle man from this MAZE of, "When or never get my parts." A credit card order would generate money for the company much quicker than waiting for the month or more for payment from your distribtors. my money is more reliable and quicker than there's.
Don

Wonder if the part was really ordered? Has Goshen been called? Four months is unreasonable. Somebody has dropped the ball. Expediters aren't doing their job.

What parts are you looking for, I got some spare parts when I was at Goshen. Might be able to help out?

I have had a small bit of experience with this dealer. It left me less than impressed or inclined to go back. That was just the sales department, I don't know about the parts department.
On second thought, have you tried Walt's RV supply out in Fontana? They probably have what you are looking for at a fraction of the price. Steve and I were out there today; got a ton of stuff and it came to a whopping 15 bucks. Its like a big RV yardsale, from frigs to plumbing to anything you can think of.
Good luck!

Sue,
Steve and I will be going out there again, I will look for you next trip out. Steve says he saw some that was definitely "close" but wasn't paying enough attention

Thanks for the help Larry, here is a picture of what I was hoping the dealer was ordering for me.
As you can see the part that conects to the wall is broken off.

Don, replace them with the metal ones. Most RV supply stores carry them.
Tara, close will work as it really won't show much. Thanks.

Don, two of these broke on our unit exactly where yours did. I just drilled a new hole in the bracket and mounted them again in the same holes in the wall, works fine so far.

When we eliminated the tie backs on our curtains, we needed these brackets for the bottom of the curtains.
I bought small flat aluminum strips from Lowes. I used nails in a 2x4 to create a "bending jig".
I used a plastic one like you've shown as a pattern.
These metal brackets work very well and we are really happy with the functionality and look. The Day/Night shades go up and down "without a hitch"!

So are ours Lonnie. And if they get bent out of shape you can just bend them back. I have seen them at RV supply stores (not CW).
Happy trails..............

Just another thought...lots of us have solved the problem by taking those $%^#* drapes off altogether, and taking those holders off. "Opens up" the rooms a lot..
Best,

We took a tour of the Service center when at the fall rally. It was just me and good old George. The parts department is in the same building, in fact everything is in the same building "service center" We were impressed by the parts and shipping department, We were advised that parts are shipped out within 2 days of the order being received and if not the dealer would know why, (backorder, etc) I would suspect the dealer if a part takes a overly long time to arrive. When I order a part, any part from any dealer... i ask for the invoice number/order number. Armed with that information I can call customer service and check my order status..Let the dealer know you can and will do that..The last part we ordered through our dealer was delivered directly to my home.

Yippie I finally got all 2 pairs of them.
Just a FYI for all interested, here is the Keystone part number for the new and inproved Steel ones, there is a right hand and a left hand bracket, and are sold as a pair or a set.
Part number is ( 144665,Bracket Hold Down Drapery ) Along with a picture I hope this will help all in the future for this part.
