Congratulations!!
What a gorgeous rig.
My lovely and gracious has given the ok on the same rig.
I’m still doing some research and wanted to ask if you had some input; can you use a generator with your super solar flex?
I watched an in-depth video from an “RV nerd” in Michigan. He said that the generator wasn’t capable of working with the solar flex yet.
We want the solar for the obvious reasons...but, how would we charge the batteries if we were boondocking in days of inclimate weather?
I apologize in advance for the off topic question.
I hope you’ll share your journey when you take delivery of your beautiful Montana.
Cheers
Mike & Cindy

I have a 3121RL with a Dodge 6.5 bed and I use the Anderson gooseneck mount hitch with no problems on clearance issues. I would definitely recommend it for its ease and being light weight.

I have only used the Anderson & love it. The fact I can take it out buy myself and have 100% use of my bed for other things when not pulling is a big plus. We have a friend that has an RV sales business who highly recommended the Anderson & I have been very happy with it. I have to admit that I have not used any other type so I can’t say it’s better, just that it work great and is easy to use.

Thank you all for the responses. This is going to be a great trailer for us. The responses from owners group just confirm our thoughts. Really look forward to meeting fellow owners on the road!

One minor downside of the Anderson is that if you ever want to add some cushioning between truck and camper (Trailair pinbox), you won't be able to do that as I understand it. We have a 3121 and added the Trailair, and it does make a difference.

I've carry'd our 3000 watt generator in the back of the truck for over 26yrs, they come with remote start/off these days. Top it up with fuel when filling the truck while camper is at the campsite. No vibration or noise in the trailer, little to no chance of deadly CO fumes getting into the trailer. Saves on storage space that could be used for something else in the trailer.

Great choice. When we ordered we checked all the boxes except paint, now wish I had. I love the fact that I don't have to carry around a generator any more or the fuel that goes with it. We ordered ours with residential refrigerator (dry camping in in a truck stop or rest stop) and love it, with the solar and two lithium batteries I can run it all night without the generator or run both airs on the generator.
Love the Andersen hitch easy to put in and remove, they wife can do it.

New 3121 and hitch
Congratulations on the new rig. I have had a superglide Pullrite for several years and very happy with it. Pulling our Montana which is 37 feet 3160 RL Legacy 2015 model. I can turn a 90 degree turn with 6” clearance. Most of the 2015 Montanas (and newer) have indented on each of the side on front. I am pulling it with a Ram 6’4” bed. Be sure you have clearance of at least six inches from your bed rails on truck to avoid the trailer dipping and on rails and can damage both problems.
You may want to check two new Pullrite 5th hitches, the models of #2400 or 2600 which provides a video of both on Pullrite site. They are each less than 50 lbs. and made of steel and Pullrite good quality.
