King sized bed sheets
Hi there,
Anyone know where to find bed sheets for our '09 3605RL? I can purchase at Bed Bath and Beyond, but know that the size would really be big for the 5er bed. Thanks in advance, Steve and Sherry Wells

Depends on what bed size you have. I just use regular king size sheets, fitted for bottom, flat for top. They work fine just tuck in the little extra.

GregN,
thanks for the reply. We had thought it would be cheaper to find those in RV size, but I see what you mean, and while limiting ourselves by looking for RV style, the regular king sized ones are available everywhere. Have a great day.

I'm Mrs. HOOK and I was not happy with excess bottom sheet. I bought some straps (like old fashioned garter belts, ladies) I think they came from BED, BATH and beyond. They worked great. Little bit of a hassle getting them on, but worth the hassle.

We slide the mattress down so we can get to the head, tuck extra in and push it back into place, seems to work well

I have a 3in memory foam on the bed. Takes up a little more of the sheet. Plus I like the higher tread count for sheets, can't find those in rv fitted sheets.

I have the California King Sheets on the bed, they are a bit smaller. I bought a set in Florida and one at the Flea Market in Goshen.
If you query them on Amazon I'm sure you will find them and be able to see the size of the sheets.
It is a pain to make but I do like the extra room that you get with a king.

If anyone is going to the Goshen Rally, They have 1800 count Egyptian sheets over at Shipshee for 20.00. They are open Tues. and Wed.

Does anyone know if it is ok to change out the king mattress in the rv for a the one from home. Is there a difference in weight, size etc?

I also have a king sized bed with the rounded corners at the foot and was NOT happy paying high prices for RV Sheets of lesser quality just so they'd fit properly. I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and bought some NICE sheet sets. I put the fitted sheet on the bed and figured that they were about 4 inches too big. I folded the material over (like a pleat) and marked them with a water color marker, took them into the house and sewed the pleat into each fitted sheet. Yes, it was a hassle until I talked the wife into helping me hold the sheet while I sewed the pleat on the machine. THEY WORK PERFECTLY and I won't have to worry about it until I need more sheets. And because now I know what I'm doing, it shouldn't be a problem.

Hey Rob, the DW wants to know where did you put the pleat, she is considering doing the same and was wondering if it was right down the middle head to toe?

I use regular king size with elastic around all the edges for the bottom and I put a queen size sheet as a top sheet. The queen doesn't hang down below the bedspread.
