Shine On
I have searched and reas a number of posts reguarding washing and waxing your RV, everything from Blue Dawn to Protectall and Meguires #56 RV and boat wax, etc.
I was at an RV Dealer and was asking about what they use. They said it would take the large kit to do a 3400RL which cost 149.95
Here is the site on the product they use, has anyone tried this

Jim,
Curious, which products you use? Have you tried the wash and wax? The waterless cleaner/ wax?
Thanks,
Les

Wash with Dawn dish soap, wax with Mothers Carnuba wax by hand twice a year. Unit always looks like brand new. And its easy on easy off.

Be careful with Dawn...it will strip the wax. Since we are not full timers, and keep the RV under cover when not in use, I use Protect All. Easy on easy off, but not as durable as regular 'wax.'

That is correct Dawn will strip the wax in time. Thats why I hand wax twice a year. Taking off of old wax is also a good thing before putting on new IMHO. This is what has worked for me. When I traded in a 7 yr. old MH for my Monty the dealer said I hope the inside looks as well as the outside.........it did.

I Like the Maguires Cleaner/wax I have used it for years on airplanes and cars and now the FW. It does a good job at removing black streak that are always popping up. Easy on and off. and only about $6 a bottle. I have also used a product call Kozak dry wash on aircraft I tried it on the RV and liked it. But I always go back to Maguires products for the money you can't beat them.

I just bought 2 bottles of Maguires Cleaner/Wax and it was a little over 11 bucks each. It says to do a 2-3 ft space at a time. I find it dries to quick to buff off. Maybe I'm not using enough. Doing it in the morning before sun comes up and gets hot. Just can't get the shine I'm looking for.
Have a local detailer that said he would do it for 10 bucks a foot.?
