Clear door
Friends have a SOB that has a clear plastic/Plexiglas front door instead of the screen door we have. Anyone know if they are available for a 2003 Montana? She wants it so we can run A/C with outside door open and get light.
Thanks!

Put plexiglass on the screen door. Many of us have.

Most people use velcro to hold light plexiglass in place, others like us, have sent them out to a glass company and had the screen replaced. We never used the screens anyway so we just had the whole thing replaced.

I put it on with velcro so we can remove a panel if we want to.

Take measurements of the screen door screen part and frame part. Then take these measurements to a glass or hardware store to get thin sheets of plexiglass that can be fastened to the screen door frame. Make sure you use enough fastening material to support them and there weight when the door is opened and closed. Hook and loop is a quick fastener or other things like screws and wingnuts will work just fine.
Many who do this put them over the existing screens for versatility. When you want air circulation, too, then remove the plexiglass. The biggest issue is storing them but you should be able to keep them many places in the rig.

I cut the Plex-a-glass a little wider than the opening, then very carefully slide it into the extra channel on the door. Have done it on all rigs we have owned.

We took the door to a glass shop also as we wanted to keep the screen. About $85 and worth it to us. I wanted the light with the air or heat!
