Suggestions
We pull a 2020 Montana 3121RL and have had Sailun 637 R85/16 tires that are G rated tires and have pull lots of miles since 2020. About time to replace the tires, wearing on the outside a bit and don't want to risk a blow out. Have looked at CARLISLE
RADIAL TRAIL HD
ST235 /85 R16 128L F1 BSB
Any suggestions or should I stay with the Sailuns which I have had NO problems with over the years?

Sailiun is my suggestion. Since you haven’t had any problem with them why change?

I think you`ve answered your own question. Just don`t buy light truck tires.

If you’re happy with what you have then I’d say buy another set. That’s my thinking anyway.

The outside rib of Sailuns will wear before the center tread. Lots of turns will do it. Had over 18,000 miles on my Sailuns before they dated out. They are regroveable so there is a lot of meat in the outside rib even after the sipes disappear.
Stay with a winner. Sailun.

I had Carliles on my last 2 travel trailers and never had an issue with their tires.
Got my Montana High Country and had Ranier tires (factory installed) and a blow out 5 months later. Ended up getting Hercules tires (didn't plan on that, but that's how it worked out --- long story). Anyway, Hercules turned out to be a great tire! Been running on Hercules ever since.
At least check them out before just tossing them out the door site unseen.
Good luck!

I had a set of Sailuns on my Rv for almost 4yrs and over 30,000 miles. Went to order a new set from Walmart and their fraud dept cancelled my order. I guess because we are full timers and always moving and using our card all over the US. Couldn’t get it straightened out so bought a set of Carlisle’s and they look almost exactly the same as the sailsun’s with exactly the same specs. I’ve only had them a couple weeks so can’t say if they’re just as good but both made in China.

I had picked up a 3/8 bolt in my tire. I went to the local Goodyear dealer I asked them for a replacement tire. He said the Sailuns were backordered, so I asked what he would suggest as a comparable replacement, he said he would wait as I wasnt in dire need. They put Sailuns on all the trailers they work on, even commercial as well. Said the have no issues with them/ most troublefree trailer tires they sell.
