New members, ya you betcha
We're close to retirement, enjoy summer vacations in the upper Midwest and the occasional winter vacation in Florida. As a career mechanic and Jack of all trades, I'm always busy with honey doo projects. I enjoy old cars and shooting sports and she enjoys gardening.
When traveling we enjoy exploring new places and trying the local food / wines.

Welcome to MOC. I enjoy the shooing sports. We have made our living for over 40 years making products for shooters mainly benchrest shooters. The nicest thing about shooters is the people.

Welcome to the forums and glad you are enjoying your travels.
I retired in January 2022 and I will say, it's been marvelous. I've slowed way down, meaning, I take my time doing stuff now because I have the time. I still have a long grocery list of projects I want and need to complete, even after a year and a half now. But, between camping trips and extended journeys I'll probably never get everything done like I want to.
Sometimes, I just like to sit and do nothing but punch keys on forum web sites. It's time to relax and actually smell the roses now.
So far, boredom has not hit me. But, I do find myself taking an occasional nap now in the afternoon, where as before I had to keep working even when I felt bushed out. It's nice not to have to be subject to a schedule any more. BUT!!! it is real, real, real easy to forget what day of the week it is now. Oh, there are some drawbacks to this thing called retirement!

Yup, Last year July, I retired and started traveling the Country fulltime. So now I'm Retired rather than just tired. Lov'n it so far, been a lot of adventures, from driving in mountains during blizzards to flat tire in Wyoming I90 10:30pm.
Always seems to be something new!
