I had a terminal block fry in an older unit (2007). I leave the fireplace on all night when it is cold. It isn't a real fire only look like it.

we use ours all night all the time, its made for heating and has no limitations for running long periods. I would not recommend running it when unattended , and that is just the fire men in me. Much the same as I dont run the dishwasher or clothes dryer when I am not home or leaving the house. I have seen to many fires start from unattended appliances that would have been prevented if someone was home.

We just did last week when we were in the Poconos helps keep the living area warm so use less propane and heat runs less, we keep that on even if we run out otherwise the temps will drop inside quickly. We only camp in the cold weather one or 2 times per year all other camping is done in the Fall, Spring, and Summer

Just to repeat what was said above - remember that you have to run the 'propane burning' heater to keep the pipes and holding tanks from freezing - even with tank heaters -- they do nothing for the pipes.

We always use our fireplace as a heater when it is not cold enough to run the furnace. it saves us on propane and we use the campground's electric. It works great. The heat goes right up into the bedroom.

We have just started leaving it on vs draining the propane tanks with furnace. Its protected to stop if it needs to. We have dogs and can get very chilly up there.

When temp gets in the low 20's we run ours to help the furnace but not to where it prevents the furnace from running. Still want the furnace to kick on fairly regularly to circulate the air in the basement. When temps are above 32, the fireplace is our main source of heat.

Always use propane only when below freezing. In my 2011 3150 back in 2012 I used my fireplace for heat during the day when above freezing and when we were home and all night.
After a couple of months of this continuous use the fan motor in the fireplace quit! The company who made the fireplace(don't remember name) sent me a new fan unit and arranged to have it installed free under warranty by a local installer. I was told that the fan motors are not heavy duty and not made for continuous use as I had been doing! They said they are made for occasional use etc. What happened was the fan quit and the overtemperature sensor shut down the heater as it is supposed to do. So if you use yours a lot expect to replace the fan motor and/or look into getting a spare!

If the fire place is UL approved or equivalent it is well designed and is not a problem leaving on at full power all the time.

We were in Florida and it got a bit chilly - we ran the electric fireplace all night. We shut it off when we were out of the rig for any length of time.

Leaving Fireplace on
We have left ours on all night when electric is free. Especially if we arrive late and it’s cold. Also supplement with the furnace until it warms up

We have always used the fireplace heater, even when it is freezing. When the outdoor temps are 50 and above it works fine by all by itself. I also set the furnace thermostat at about 64 overnight, which causes the furnace to run about 3-4 times overnight when temps are in the 40's. If it was below freezing, which it will be tonight here in Alabama, I expect the furnace to run a lot. Electricity is free in almost every RV park, so why not use it? We agree with many who also commented that for safety reasons we don't leave the fireplace running when we leave.

We run ours all night when temps are 40 or above. Lower than 40 we run the furnace as the fireplace alone will not keep up. We also use a small cube heater in the morning to warm tings up if it got too cold overnight. Have never left the fireplace or cube heater on unattended.

No problem
We have left ours on numerous times with no issues. Have taken our fiver to Ak. twice and it really helped out. Took the load off the heat pump.
