I have a friend with a MH and when driving where there are love bugs , every morning befor leaving the park he sprays the front with Pam. Yes I know, but he says that a simple rinse off at the end of the day washes off the bugs.
Just saying what he said.

DW just tried a dryer sheet on part of the Montana cap and was amazed how well it worked. She then gave it the ultimate test and cleaned her front license plate. Now the plate looks brand new!

I’ve had the front of my camper black with bugs. I mix it about 30% or if I’m feeling lazy 50% spray it on lightly brush it rinse it off repeat if necessary. Done. If you like scrubbing your camper for hours get something else. If you are really lazy and don’t like scrubbing your camper try it. It’s only about $10 a gallon so you can’t loose much. Advanced Auto should have it.

I'm writing down all these remedies since I might be changing to something easier than dryer sheets. They take a lot of elbow grease and they leave a residue that you have to rinse off. Takes up to 4 dryer sheets depending how thick the bugs are. I think Purple Power is my next try considering how cheap it is for a small bottle.

I want to thank you all for this thread. Sunday I washed my truck after traveling to Memphis and back and the truck grille and side mirrors looked like a bug kill zone. I used a wet bounce sheet before washing the truck on all of the front surfaces and the bug guts came right off. It was so easy. Thanks!

I always say I’m the laziest machinist on earth. Lazy people sometimes get more done because they look for easier ways to do things.

purple power
I saw Purple Power spray bottle in Walmart.
Just to be sure - it is called "Purple Power Concentrated Industrial Strength Cleaner/Degreaser"
Directions say "DO NOT use on exterior car surfaces, glass, painted surfaces or wheel rims." Is that the right bottle of stuff? Do you use it right out of the spray bottle or do you dilute it?

I buy it in gallon jugs. I dilute it about 1 part PP it 3 parts water but 50/50 will work or even 100%. It’s as good a tire and wheel cleaner as I have ever used. I spray it on the front of my truck, paint chrome and all and it’s never in over 40 years hurt anything including aluminum wheels. This sounds like lawyer talk. I bough a bag of real charcoal and after I read all the warnings I thought I should put it out. That darn stuff can kill you and cause cancer, that is according to California.

In California everything will kill you. That's according to the CA EPA people including if you eat meat.

When I arrive at campground I use WashWax on front cap to soak bugs just wash with car soap. Trailer is waxed with Meguires Flagship Marine/RV wax and Meguires Fast Finish so they come right off and I can clean it from ground.

I’m not throwing off on California. They should do what is best for their citizens but it seams like every thing I buy has a California warning on it. It seams like every thing in California will kill you.
