Trying to Get Dependable Amazon Prime Deliveries-
Hiya! My husband and I have a problem we haven't seen addressed, and we may have it simply because we particularly love to camp in rural areas and areas where we boondock. We get products delivered more than once / month, and we signed on to Amazon Prime so we could get things pretty quickly. The problem is in the delivery: Deliveries can use USPS or UPS or FedX and we frequently stay where we can get UPS or FedX, but not USPS. Sometimes packages start out with one type of carrier and change mid-route. We've had packages returned to sender even before we know there's a problem. We're not sure how best to solve this. Anybody out there with a bright idea?

I think your problem is self inflicted. If the order is small enough to ship USPS be sure to be in a RV park so they can find you.

sort of
We are in a RV Park that UPS and Fed Ex deliver to, but the USPS doesn't. So if we use park address ok with UPS and Fed Ex, but if USPS we would have to use another address such as general delivery...
Amazon and the VA use all services

Sometime you can ask to pick them up at the distribution center be it UPS or fedex or USPS Post office.

USPS,Fedex,Ups, have never had a problem with any deliveries, never had a campground unwilling to accept deliveries/mail for us.

There is an option to pick up Amazon deliveries at delivery points. On "Shipping address" during checkout there is a line at the bottom "Or pick up from an Amazon Locker" where you can specify a pickup point for your purchase.

Have never had the problem anywhere we went, but I have always checked with the camp hosts to see how they get theirs. Once in a while you have to let the local post office know to hold it for you, but they will and it works.

well just got off chat with Amazon, answer seens to be redirect items after they are shipped by changing the address if necessary
03:04 PM PDT Romit: Add the both address in your account. At the time of delivery choose where you want the product.
03:06 PM PDT MICHAEL F KENNY: so i would chage the delivery address after it is shipped depending on the shiper?
03:06 PM PDT Romit: That alert will be shown to you at the time that seller ship or not on your address.
03:07 PM PDT MICHAEL F KENNY: ok i'll try
