Diesel Fuel Sys Cleanout

I have a 2016 Chevrolet 3500HD Diesel dually with 58,000 miles. Im getting ready to take a 1300 mile trip, driving straight through. A friend of mine suggested I add a diesel fuel system cleanout fluid/cleaner to the fuel. He said to add this stuff every time I stop for fuel that way the fuel system will be constantly cleaned for 1300 miles. Makes sense to me but what fuel system cleaner is best for this trip? Should I bother with it because as far as I know the fuel system is working fine. My friend says you want to be sure the injectors are clean. I changed the fuel filter out a year and a half ago. Thanks for your input.
