GMC Sierra

Have 2008 GMC Sierra with Duramax. Have read multiple articles re problem with diesel down pipe. Anyone experienced this problem or similar with Duramax. Recently passed 100K miles, had fluids and serpentine belt replaced per GMC recommendation. Any pointers re what problems to expect at this mileage with this engine? Truck performance exemplary to this point.
