Slides stop on 12v

When extending or retracting my slides on 12v, the slides stop, lights go off. Once I release the switch, there is a reset & I can continue moving the slides. I have 2-12 volt batteries. Thinking I might have a bad battery, I disconnected one and tried moving the slides with the same problem. I switched batteries with no change.

This doesn't happen when connected to shore power.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks,

Ken
