front stabilizer motor issue

When we were setting up this evening, I noticed that the front legs weren't working properly. While lowering the legs, I noticed that the motor was skipping once in a while. I looked and can see where the motor jumps when we press the button to lower the legs. I can move the motor with my hand. Is this normal?
