Prevent Florida Mold

We decided to store our Montana in Florida over the summer. We took all the precautions suggested by a number of folks who do this: The unit was thoroughly cleaned (inside and out), fridge dry, checked everything for any signs of leaks. We used Damp Rid( 3 pails). We covered windows with a fabric sun shade which allowed filtered light in. We left no ceiling vents open. Upon return we still had mildew/mold on just about every window and screen. Also on some cabinet doors. I know it was a very humid ,wet summer here. Fortunately it was easily cleaned but just curious if there is anything else we should be doing? Appreciate any other storage solutions. Thanks.
