Hello from South Carolina,
HELP! My name is J.D. and my wife is Sandy. We just took departure from a motor home and bought a 2012 Montana Mountaineer. We are learning the new system (for us) and trying to get ready to make our maiden voyage to the mountains of North Carolina.
Sandy and I are both retired. Me from the U.S. Navy and as a NJROTC Instructor at a high school. Sandy is retired from the local school system.
I don't know if I should ask this question here on the introduction page but if anyone can help I would appreciate it.
The fresh water tank on our new rig has never been used so I want to sanitize it. I drained the tank as the manual calls for, mixed the proper solution of bleach and water. Obtained a hand held pump but lo and behold there is no way possible to get the solution in the fresh water tank. I removed the filter and inserted my hose. When I apply pressure to pump the solution it spews back out. How can I get the solution in the fresh water tank?
